Five questions to ask when someone presents a quantum solution
A practical framework for examining the problem, comparison, evidence, system requirements, and path from a quantum demonstration to real use.

Field Notes start with a question a real person might ask. We trace the answer to primary sources, define unfamiliar terms, and keep the limits beside the claim.
No publishing schedule is promised. Each note appears after named human review.
Three starting points for readers who want to judge the field with more confidence.

A plain-language guide to the problems quantum computers may handle differently, the limits of today's machines, and the evidence worth asking for.

Begin with a question supported by project records, public query evidence, or a documented reader need.
Use primary sources for technical, scientific, legal, and time-sensitive facts.

Direct answers
Field Notes are sourced explanations for people who want to understand a quantum subject or evaluate a claim without beginning with specialist knowledge.
Each published Field Note has a recorded human author and reviewer approval in the project release evidence. The public page uses an organizational byline, publication date, and last-reviewed date. A draft without those approvals remains outside the public sitemap.
Technical, scientific, legal, statistical, and time-sensitive claims begin with current primary sources. Company material is used for claims about that company, not as neutral proof of the whole field.
